Ken Eakin

I am a "pracademic"-- I am a full-time consultant with Ken Eakin Consulting, where I coach, facilitate and teach Lean for office/administrative processes. I also teach an introduction to Lean course to MBA students at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa. I have an MBA from the Rotman School of Business (U of T) and an MA in Film Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

I am the author of Office Lean: Understanding and Implementing Flow in a Professional and Administrative Environment (CRC Press: 2019). In the book I explain how the principles of Lean can be applied in office/administrative "knowledge work" environments. My goal is to make work better for all stakeholders, especially employees and customers.
