Assistant Professor of Psychology, University of Windsor

Dr. Soucie earned her B.A. at the University of Windsor, her M.A. at Wilfrid Laurier University, and her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from Wayne State University. She recently joined the University of Windsor as a tenure-track faculty member in the Child Clinical area in 2019. She is interested in the social, cultural, and institutional contexts within which identity domains develops, i.e., within relationships, as part of communities, and as connected to institutions. Her research also examines the intersections of health and narrative, particularly around diagnosis experiences within women's health. Dr. Soucie is also a strong proponent of mixed methods research designs and integrates qualitative and quantitative analyses into these domains.
