I am a partner in D'Ambra Murphy Lawyers and an accredited specialist in immigration law. Our firm specialises in onshore refugee and family category visas. I was admitted as a solicitor in 1986 and I have previously worked for the Department of Immigration and as Australian country director for the Jesuit Refugee Service. I have written articles on immigration and refugee matters for various publications. I am one of the lecturers for the ANU Migration Law Program and the ANU Refugee Law short course and an IARC ambassador. I am also an author of several chapters in the 8th & 9th Editions of the Immigration Kit.
