Dr Kevin Ball is a senior lecturer in sports biomechanics.

Kevin is an authority on the biomechanics and skill acquisition of kicking.
He has worked as assistant coach at Fremantle Football Club, as a sports scientist with Western Bulldogs and Melbourne football clubs and as specialist kicking coach for AFL teams, AIS AFL, Accelerate and the Melbourne Storm and Wigan rugby league clubs.

Kevin's current research projects include changes in kicking technique due to fatigue, decision making in kicking, ball to foot interaction, development of non-preferred leg kicking and goalshooting in the rugby codes.He is an associate member of the AFL Sport Science Advisory Group and is a member of the AFL kicking skill acquisition group.
