Khorshed Alam is an Associate Professor of Economics in the School of Commerce at the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. He holds a PhD in Environmental Economics from Murdoch University and a Masters in Economics from the Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands. His research interests include environmental, health and agricultural economic issues, economics of water-energy-climate change, sustainability, applied economics, digital futures and regional economic development. He has conducted research for local, state and Commonwealth Government departments in Australia.
