Kim worked in humanitarian practitioner and manager for 13 years in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. She has a Master of Social Science (Development Studies) and a Phd in Public Policy & Governance. She is currently working as a Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Culture and Society at Western Sydney University.
