Kushneel Prakash

Kushneel Prakash is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Melbourne Institute of Applied Economic and Social Research at the University of Melbourne.

Kushneel obtained his PhD in Economics from Monash University, where he was the recipient of the 2020 Mollie Holman Award, that recognises the Best PhD thesis in the Faculty of Business of Economics. His research interests are in the areas of applied economics with particular focus to economics of happiness, health economics and energy economics using survey data. His research is published in economics journal including Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization (JEBO), Energy Economics, Journal of Business Research, Economic Modelling and China Economic Review.
