Dr Lana Ireland is a lecturer and researcher in social and forensic psychology, with an interest in identity, substance use and misuse, parenting and families, and working with excluded groups. Recent research has included a mixed-methods investigation of the roles of alcohol in domestic abuse, a UK-wide interview study into barriers for immunisations among Travelling communities, and a randomised control trial of a parenting intervention with perpetrators of domestic abuse.
