Laura J Ogden

Laura is a researcher in the Globalization, Transnationalism and Development research programme of Maastricht University's Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. She currently works on the 'Mobility Trajectories of Young Lives' project (motrayl.com), led by Prof. Valentina Mazzucato and funded by the European Research Council, which seeks to develop a better understanding of the relationship between migration and young people’s life chances. Laura is particularly interested in the impact of transnational mobility on young people's education, and how audiovisual methods can be used to explore these questions. She previously worked in international educational development in Timor-Leste and conducted research on the country's 2013 primary education curriculum reform.
