Principal Lecturer - Department of Management, University of Huddersfield

After brief stints in the car industry and public health, Leigh joined the University of Huddersfield in 1993 she quickly became involved in teaching and soon decided on a career path in lecturing. Leigh has worked for the Business School ever since and has taught across a range of undergraduate, post graduate and professional courses. Her teaching practice incorporates entrepreneurship, business strategy and personal and professional development. Leigh enjoys working with practicing managers and encouraging participants to apply theories and new ideas to their management practice.

Leigh is Acting Subject Leadership for Entrepreneurship and Sustainabilityand continues to teach modules across postgraduate and professional programmes.

Leigh’s research interests range from supply chain management, case study in speciality coffee and entrepreneurship education.
