Linda Briskman holds the Margaret Whitlam Chair of Social Work at Western Sydney University. She conducts research and writes on asylum seeker rights, Indigenous rights and challenging Islamophobia. She is a convenor of Social Workers Without Borders, Voices Against Bigotry and Academics for Refugees.
