Lindsay Findlay-King

Principal Lecturer in Sport Management, Northumbria University, Newcastle

Dr Lindsay Findlay-King is a Principal lecturer of Sport Management and Faculty Director of Quality Assurance in Health and Life sciences, at Northumbria University. Lindsay completed a BA (Hons) in Modern History and Politics and an MA (with distinction) in Leisure Management at Sheffield University, followed by a PhD at Northumbria University.
She has been an academic at Northumbria since 1996. She is the Chair of the UK Sports Volunteering Research Network (https://sports-volunteer-research-network.org.uk/). Her research currently focuses on community volunteer operations of local sports centres and libraries. She supervises PhD research in sport volunteering. Lindsay teaches volunteer management on a variety of modules. Most recently Lindsay is working on projects linked to C-19 and sports volunteering.
