Lindsay Toth is an Assistant Professor of Kinesiology in the Department of Clinical and Applied Movement Sciences at the University of North Florida. Her primary area of research is investigating the validity and utility of wearable activity monitors for the measurement of physical activity and exercise. She mainly focuses on assessing steps per day from research- and consumer-grade activity monitors and is working to better understand methods of assessing step count which reduce measurement error and equate different methods of measurement.
