Principal Lecturer and Professional Lead, Children's Nursing, University of Hertfordshire

Dr. Lisa Whiting is Professional Lead for Children's Nursing and Post Graduate Research Tutor for PhD students in the School of Health and Social Work at the University of Hertfordshire. Prior to her career within the University setting, she gained a range of paediatric nursing clinical experience, specialising in the area of children's critical care nursing. Since moving to a University environment, Lisa has studied academically and nurtured an interest in child health promotion. Her research interests focus on children and young people and she has led a number of studies relating to their health and wellbeing.
