I am an Associate Professor with a Ph.D. in Anthropology, currently affiliated with the SocialLife Research Institute and serving as a Visiting Professor at the University of Social Science and Humanity, Open University in Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Bang International University. With a solid foundation in academia, my research endeavors are driven by a deep-rooted commitment to understanding and addressing critical social issues in Vietnamese society. As the founder of the SocialLife Research Institute, the focus of my scholarship has been to shed light on the challenges faced by marginalized groups, workers and the Catholic community in Vietnam.

My research portfolio is characterized by an unwavering focus on shedding light on social issues that are often overlooked or under-researched. A significant part of my work has been dedicated to unravelling the intricacies of the role of the Catholic community within the broader social fabric of Vietnam, examining the dynamics of corporate social responsibility, and delving into the intricate tapestry of social security for migrant workers. My publications and research findings are a testament to my commitment to amplifying the voices of vulnerable populations, particularly children in disadvantaged circumstances.

Beyond research, my academic role extends to the field of education. My passion for anthropology and sociology is channeled through my role as an educator, where I impart knowledge to budding minds at various educational institutions across the country. Through teaching, I strive to instill a heightened awareness of pertinent social issues in the next generation of scholars and professionals. The far-reaching impact of my research is underscored by its extensive citation by peers, attesting to its importance and relevance within academic discourse.
