PhD candidate in International Political Economy, University of Warwick

My research interests lie within the field of International Political Economy. My current PhD project explores the role played by clearing houses in the development of the Eurozone crisis, with a particular attention to how they shaped Italy's experience of the crisis.

The project also contributed to Prof. Matthew Watson's ESRC project 'Rethinking the Market', which aims at deconstructing common assumptions about the workings of markets.

Outside of academia, I have been working on a number of publications for both the European Parliament and online magazines. Before starting my PhD, I lived in Brussels for two years where I worked as policy researcher at the European Parliament as well policy and communication consultant for a European Affairs consultancy.
