Louis Monroy-Santander

Teaching Fellow in Defence, Development and Diplomacy, Durham University

I have worked in conflict and development research for different organizations in the United Kingdom, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Colombia as well as worked in the field of education both at school and university level. I am currently working as a teaching fellow in defence, diplomacy and development at Durham University.

My research focuses on issues of reconciliation, post-conflict peace-building and social reconstruction in the Western Balkans (Bosnia and Kosovo). I have a masters degree in international development, specializing in conflict, security and development and an undergraduate degree in political science and international relations.
