Lyndsay Duthie is an award winning international television expert with over 20 years experience in the media industry: as a television executive producer, broadcaster, and educator. She is Professor of Media and Head of School for Film, Media and Performing Arts at the University for the Creative Arts. Lyndsay's background is as a television executive producer for factual entertainment programmes with credits for BBC, ITV, C4, C5, SKY and Discovery, with her original television formats selling internationally.

Lyndsay is also a media commentator with articles and appearances for SKY News, BBC Radio 4, The Independent, BBC News, Huffington Post, The Conversation and i newspaper. She is also the co-author of The TV Studio Production Handbook, published by I.B Tauris/Bloomsbury Academic. Lyndsay has served on the executive board for Women in Film and Television (WFTV) and has judged for the International Emmys & RTS. She is currently on the executive committee for the Royal Television Society TVC, Chair of their Education and Training Committee and a member of BAFTA.
