Lynlea is a well-qualified higher education professional with 17 years work experience in that sector. Lynlea’s PhD and area of expertise is in Graduate Employability. She has spent over a decade working to enhance the graduate employability of business students, including MBAs, by promoting university collaborations in the form of internships across a wide range of organisations and businesses in South-east Queensland. These collaborations foster business development opportunities and rewarding networks for all participating stakeholders. Lynlea played a key role alongside the Chair of the Board of Gold Coast University Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS), to create and establish a unique non-clinical business internship program at GCHHS for university business students. This collaboration won the 2018 ACEN National Collaboration Award. Lynlea has a strong reputation as a student advocate, for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, having supported and mentored both international and domestic students to successfully complete their degrees and to move into rewarding careers. Lynlea joined the School of Business and Creative Industries at the University of Sunshine Coast in March 2021.
