M. Wesam Al Asali

Global Fung Postdoctoral Fellow, Princeton University

Wesam is a practicing architect and a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Princeton, where he studies architecture and climate emergency in the Global South. He gained his PhD at the Centre for Natural Material Innovation at the University of Cambridge.
Wesam is a design and innovation lead at his co-founded practice (IWlab) and co-founder of the social enterprise CERCAA, a center for learning and innovation in building crafts in Spain-Valencia.
