Maarten van Hardenbroek van Ammerstol

Lecturer in Physical Geography, Newcastle University

Maarten joined Newcastle University in 2017 after six years as a postdoctoral researcher working on a number of projects at the University of Bern and the University of Southampton.

His areas of expertise include lakes, long-term environmental change, stable isotope analysis, aquatic invertebrates, sedimentary DNA, high-latitude environments and wetland archaeology.
