Mahyar Shirvanimoghaddam

Academic Fellow, University of Sydney

Dr Mahyar Shirvanimoghaddam was born in Khorram Abad, Lorestan, Iran.

He was a research assistant at the Centre for IoT and in Telecommunications, The University of Sydneya Postdoctoral Research Associate at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computing, The University of Newcastle.

Since November 2016, he has been with the Centre for IoT and Telecommunications, The University of Sydney, as an Academic Fellow.

Dr Shirvanimoghaddam was a recipient of University of Sydney International Scholarship (USydIS), University of Sydney Postgraduate Award (UPA), and University of Sydney Norman I prize.

In 2018, He was selected as one of the Top 50 Young Scientists in the World by World Economic Forum.
