Marcos Todt is visiting researcher at the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA-UAB) and PhD student in Social Sciences at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS). He is a researcher linked to the Brazilian Center for Research on Democracy (CBPD), the Political Ecology Working Group of the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO) and the Barcelona Research Group on Informal Recyclers.Two of his main research interests are: a) the approach of ecological issues by Brazilian political parties, and b) alternatives to the development paradigm.
