Margaret Campbell

Adjunct assistant professor, Sociology, St. Thomas University (Canada)

Margaret Campbell’s research examines the intersections of disability, gender, and sexuality by exploring the varied ways that people with disabilities experience their gender and sexuality. As an individual who lives with a chronic illness, her work and identity often collide as she pursues various research interests such as disability, media, gender, and sexuality. Margaret holds a PhD in Social and Cultural Analysis and her teaching and research practices are informed by her belief in the possibility of creating a world that is more equitable, accessible, and ultimately, more enjoyable for all.
