Marilyn A. Norconk

Emeritus Professor, Kent State University

I have been at Kent State University in Kent OH USA since 1992 as a faculty member of the anthropology department and graduate faculty of the school of biomedical sciences. My research interests are feeding ecology and behavior of South American monkeys, particularly in Suriname. I was a Fulbright senior scholar to Suriname from 2016-2018. I am currently chair of the Conservation Committee of the American Society of Primatologists and am a fellow in the Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). I particularly enjoy collaborating with U.S. and Surinamese colleagues to train training students in field ecology and conservation.
