Martin Zeigler is a paleoceanographer who is studying marine sediment cores as archives of past climate variability. Applied proxies methods include foraminiferal trace elements and stable isotopes (oxygen, carbon, boron), bulk sediment geochemistry by XRF-scanning, foraminiferal counts, ice rafted debris. He has a special interest in the climate response to orbital forcing.
