Matt Killingsworth

Lecturer in International Relations at University of Tasmania

Dr Matt Killingsworth is a Lecturer in International Relations in the School of Social Sciences at the University of Tasmania. During the 2013 Michaelmas Term, he will be a Visiting Fellow at the Institute for Ethics, Law and Armed Conflict, University of Oxford. He is the author of Civil Society in Communist Eastern Europe: Opposition and Dissent in Totalitarian Regimes (2012) and numerous articles on post-Communist justice (lustration) in Poland and Czechoslovakia. His current research interests include international criminal justice, the laws of war and the changing nature of war. Matt is a member of the Red Cross International Humanitarian Law Committee (Tasmania) and can be heard every Wednesday morning between 10 and 10.30 on 936 ABC Hobart discussing the week in international politics
