Matthew Creasey is a PhD researcher at the University of Exeter's Penryn campus in Cornwall.

His research explores how and why individuals within populations differ in their behaviour and learning abilities, focussing particularly on the chestnut-crowned babbler, a cooperatively breeding bird found in outback Australia.

His other interests include science communication, engagement with the natural world and wildlife conservation.
