Matthew James

Matthew is a Research Assistant at the Wellcome-Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine at Queen's University Belfast. His current research investigates how rhinovirus (the common cold virus) hijacks human cells to replicate and evade the immune response.

Matthew is also currently finishing his PhD, which was focused on the identification of new cellular proteins essential for rhinovirus replication.
