Professor of Sport and Exercise Psychology, University of Winnipeg

My area of expertise is mainly in reaching peak performance in sport from a psychological skills perspective. I have also taught and published research in the area of exercise psychology. A particular niche of mine is sport psychology for athletes with intellectual impairment. In relation to this interest I am a classifier of athletes with intellectual impairment for World Para Athletics (under the umbrella of the International Paralympic Committee). In my former life I was a competitive track and field athlete and until recently was very involved in coaching (predominantly high jumpers).
