Melissa Grant-Peters

DPhil student, University of Oxford

I have a background in interdisciplinary science and technology (BSc, Federal University of São Paulo) and neuroscience (MSc, University College Cork). In particular I like using approaches from different STEM fields and applying these to neuroscience. I have been in research for almost eight years, having been involved in several projects, including molecular biology of fungal infections, testing treatments for Parkinson's disease, engineering small brains from stem cells and autoimmune diseases affecting the human brain and spinal cord. Currently I am writing my DPhil in the University of Oxford in Interdisciplinary Biosciences.
