Michael Haedicke is a sociologist who focuses on the relationship between organizational processes and environmental change. He is the author of a book, Organizing Organic (Stanford University Press, 2016), which traces the development of organic farming and the organic foods industry in the United States. Currently, he is working on a research project that examines climate change adaptation in southern Louisiana, with a special focus on the state's Master Plan for a Sustainable Coast.
