As a trauma surgeon, my top priorities are to deliver high-quality, timely, and cost-effective care to the sick and injured. Because I have the unique privilege to work in the highest-volume trauma center in Manhattan, I also take great pride in working with my team to not only ensure our readiness to react when disasters strike, but also to prevent them before they happen though research, injury prevention outreach programs, and education.
