Michael P. Lombardo

Professor of Biology, Grand Valley State University

My current research interests include the evolution of sports, the evolution of throwing by humans, and digit ratio and the athletic behavior and performance of women student-athletes at Grand Valley State University.

I'm also interested in the evolution of social behavior, especially cooperation, in non-human animals and humans, and the behavioral ecology of birds, especially tree swallows.
