Professor of Sociology, Lund University

I’m a professor of sociology and Lund University, Sweden, and a former Visiting Academic of St Antony’s College, Oxford University and London School of Economics in the UK and Wallenberg Alumni of Environment and Sustainability at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the US. I study obstacles and opportunities for improved knowledge exchange across ideologically polarised groups, and between the evolutionary, economic, and social sciences in issues of environment and health.

Here are three of my books
1. "Knowledge Resistance: How We Avoid Insight from Others." Manchester: Manchester University Press, 2019. http://www.manchesteruniversitypress.co.uk/9781526135209.
(The article in The Conversation on Conspiracy Theory from Dec 13, 2019 is based on my book Knowledge Resistance).

2. "Human Sciences and Human Interests: Integrating the Social, Economic, and Evolutionary Sciences." London: Routledge, 2018. https://www.routledge.com/Human-Sciences-and-Human-Interests-Integrating-the-Social-Economic-and/Klintman/p/book/9781138897984

3. "Citizen-Consumers and Evolution: Reducing Environmental Harm through Our Social Motivation." Houndmills, Basingstoke: Palgrave). https://www.palgrave.com/gp/book/9781137276797
