Mike has over 25 years of international business and academic experience working in the UK, Australia, South East Asia and Europe. He has extensive experience in developing innovative learning programmes for both public and private sector organisations. Mike's expertise extend to developing international strategy, collaborative models for innovation and strategic marketing pathways.
Mike has a deep interest in strategic issues, ranging from customer journey mapping to innovation, strategic brand management and entrepreneurial growth in organisations. Mike has worked internationally undertaking research, training and consultancy in over 15 countries including the US, UK, Canada, India, Germany, Denmark, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Malaysia.
He has worked with organisations such as Carlsberg, Siemens and Mercedes Benz and was responsible for launching new products and market expansion initiatives. During the last 12 years Mike has made significant progress in higher education working with several leading universities in the UK and held roles such as Head of Group, Marketing and Director of Executive MBA Programmes.
He holds an MBA with distinction, an MSc in Practice-based Research and a PGCE. He is currently undertaking doctoral research looking at entrepreneurial business practices within organisations and evaluating SME success in an international context.
