Dr Ming Feng is a physical oceanographer from CSIRO and specialised in climate variability and biophysical research. He is a co-leader Integrated Marine Observing System in Western Australia, to implement the oceanography observing system to monitor ocean circulation and biogeochemical properties along the Western Australian coastline. Dr Feng is a lead researcher in the Leeuwin Current variability and biophysical processes off the coast of Western Australia. Recently, he has been active in the research areas of decadal climate variations and extreme warming events in the Indo-Pacific Oceans. He has also been involved in research on the western rock lobster recruitment and biosecurity research in Western Australia.
