Mnqobi Ngubane

Mnqobi Ngubane joined PLAAS as part of a research intern team working towards developing a typology of partnerships between small-scale (smallholder) farmers and the private sector. For his research-based masters dissertation, Mnqobi conducted ethnographic research in two land beneficiary communities in KwaZulu-Natal and explored social and political dynamics in the acquisition and operation of the so-called ‘community’ game farms as both communities were granted game farms through the land reform process.
