Morad Elsana

Dr. Elsana is an adjunct professor at the American University. Prior, he served as a professor of Public International Law, International Human Rights Law, and International Humanitarian Law. Dr. Elsana holds a Doctorate degree of Juridical Science (S.J.D) from the American University, Washington College of Law. His dissertation is titled “The Dispossession and Recognizing Indigenous Land Rights”. Dr. Elsana also holds Masters of Law from the American University-WCL; Master of Social Work in Social Advocacy and Community Development from McGill University; and a Bachelor’s of Law from Tel Aviv University. Throughout his career, he has received several prestigious fellowships such as the Israel Institute post-doc Fellowship; The Fulbright Outreach fellowship; The New Israel Fund Civil Rights Leadership fellowship; and the McGill University “Middle East Program for Civil Society & Peace Building” fellowship.
