N. Meltem Daysal

Associate Professor of Economics, University of Southern Denmark

N. Meltem Daysal is an Associate Professor in the Department of Business and Economics at the University of Southern Denmark and a Research Fellow at IZA. Before joining SDU, she was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Econometrics & Operations Research at Tilburg University. She received her B.A. in Economics from Bogazici University in 2003, and her Ph.D. in Economics from University of Maryland, College Park in 2009. Professor Daysal’s main research is in the fields of health economics and labor economics. She teaches health economics at the graduate level and previously taught courses on applied econometrics at the graduate level and econometric methods at the upper undergraduate level.
