Dean of Research, UniSA Business, University of South Australia

Professor Nancy Arthur is currently appointed as Dean Research for UniSA Business and previously held the role of Dean: Research & Innovation, in the Division of Education Arts & Social Sciences at the University of South Australia. Prof Arthur holds a BA (Hons) majoring in Sociology (Waterloo), a Masters in Sociology (Alberta), and MSc and PhD degrees in Educational Psychology (Calgary). As a former Canada Research Chair at the University of Calgary, Prof Arthur’s research focused on how professionals incorporate diversity and social justice into their practice roles. Her current research program focuses on career development and the international transitions of students and workers. Prof Arthur is a Registered Psychologist (AB Canada), elected Fellow of the Canadian Psychological Association, and Board member of the International Association for Educational and Vocational Guidance. Prof Arthur’s edited books include Counseling in Context: Identities and Social Justice (Springer) and Contemporary Theories of Career Development: International Perspectives (Routledge).
