PhD Candidate, Northwestern University

Naomi Polinsky is a PhD candidate in the Cognitive Psychology program at Northwestern University. She has a bachelors degree in psychology from Barnard College. She studies how children learn during playful experiences, in children's museums, libraries, and at home with their parents, friends, and siblings. Her goal is to contribute to research that informs how we can design these playful settings that foster children's Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) learning. Naomi's work has been published in Mind, Brain, and Education, Cognitive Development, and in the Society for Research in Child Development’s Social Policy Report.
