Nattavudh Powdthavee

Nattavudh (Nick) Powdthavee joined Nanyang Technological University in Singapore in 2022, after holding positions at Warwick Business School, the London School of Economics, University of Melbourne, Nanyang Technological University, and University of York. Nick specialises in well-being (or happiness) economics and behavioural economics, and has published over 60 articles in these two broad areas. He is the author of the popular science book called "The Happiness Equation: The Surprising Economics of our Most Valuable Asset".

Research interests include: Well-being economics. Behavioural economics, especially fairness, expert predictions, and the influences of luck and efforts on decision making process.
