Lecturer in Physiotherapy, Brunel University London

My research interest focuses on our understanding and management of chronic pain and his research activities include both primary research and conducting systematic reviews with the Cochrane Collaboration.

I lecture on undergraduate and post graduate courses within the Physiotherapy division, delivering teaching related to research methods, principles of evidence based practice and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. I am an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist, with a special interest in pain generally and chronic back pain specifically.

I am also a section editor (systematic reviews and clinical trials) for the international pain blog Body in Mind (www.bodyinmind.org), and regularly contribute blogs on contemporary pain research.

I am currently the research lead for the Physiotherapy Division at Brunel.
