I have undertaken research on glaciers and glacial landforms in Iceland, Sweden and Svalbard. This has included life that exists on glacier surfaces (glacier mice), glacial geology, using ground-penetrating radar to investigate structure and using small unmanned aircraft (usually referred to as 'drones') to obtain aerial imagery to investigate glacial landforms and glacier surface change.
