Nicole is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Law and Justice at Southern Cross University, NSW. Nicole completed her Law Degree with First Class Honours at the University of Sydney. She holds a Masters of Law degree from the University of Wollongong and a Doctorate of Philosophy from Southern Cross University. She has been an academic with Southern Cross University since 1992.
Nicole’s research interests include the intersection of performance studies theory and law, and climate change law, with a particular emphasis on climate change litigation. Nicole is the lawyer on the Southern Cross University Human Research Ethics Committee, a position she’s held since 2004.
Nicole has also worked as a Research officer for the National Aboriginal and Islander Legal Services Secretariat. She is a solicitor and has worked in private practice in Lismore and Sydney. Nicole is also the Lawyer on the Southern Cross University Human Research Ethics Committee, a position she’s held since 2004. She has also assumed numerous responsibilities on various other University committees including the Occupational Health and Safety Committee, the Law School Curriculum and Library Committees, the Student Misconduct Committee and the University’s Programs Committee.
