Nikhila Mahadevan

Dr Nikhila Mahadevan is a social and personality psychologist currently based at the University of Essex. A core area of her research involves developing and empirically testing a novel theory of status hierarchies and the self called hierometer theory. Her research focuses on social status and inequality, social inclusion, self-esteem, narcissism, emotion and well-being, interpersonal behaviour, and decision-making.
