Researcher, Remote Sensing and Satellite Research Group, Curtin University

I am a biological oceanographer interested in phytoplankton, microscopic plants living in the sunlit surface layer of the oceans. I am specifically interested in linking an understanding of the functioning of the process of photosynthesis on the molecular level to Earth system scale processes like the global carbon cycle and climate. My job gives me the opportunity to learn about amazing and interesting things every day, work with amazing people, and also to go on expeditions to really exciting places.
