Ogochukwu Ejike is a PhD candidate under the supervision of Dr David Ndzi at the University of the West of Scotland. Her research focuses on applying AI techniques to predict and forecast spatio-temporal rainfall in tropical climates using data from low-cost sensors. With the aim to enable access to affordable and localised weather measuring systems to propagate economic growth and development through preparedness and mitigate the impact of climate change.

Ejike is a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of the West of Scotland, and holds an MSc in Data Analytics from the University of Glasgow.

Her research project has applications in disaster prediction, supporting UN-SDGs, water resource management, agriculture, telecommunication, et cetera.
