Clinical Lecturer in Public Health, University of Cambridge

Oliver is an NIHR (National Institute of Health Research) Clinical Lecturer in public health. He studied medicine at the University of Cambridge (pre-clinical) and University of Oxford (clinical). He trained initially in general medicine before working in the Department of Health for two years and subsequently entering public health training. He holds a Masters in Public Health from the University of Harvard. His research is concerned with understanding the effects of government polices and other interventions that lead to sustained increases in physical activity and improvements in diet.
